What A Year

Hi friends!

2023 has been a hectic and rewarding year. In addition to launching my new website, I ghostwrote a novel and completed Season 3 of I Got Nothing, a podcast for exhausted writers. But the thing I’m most proud of is writing the first season of my new audio drama, Battle Cry.

Battle Cry is a fantasy podcast that I have been wanting to write for at least seven years. It was always one of those large projects that I would think about from time to time and think, someday. That day is here. Not only did I write all ten episodes of the first season, I outlined the entire series. It will be five seasons, with ten episodes per season for a total of fifty. Season One has been cast and, as of today, recording sessions are underway!

Words cannot express my excitement and pride. This time last year I was trying to decide what I would be working on and now, people are stepping up to the mic and acting from the script I wrote. Wild.

I cannot wait to share what’s coming up in 2024. It’s going to be a busy year and I’m ready for it!
