January 2024 Update

January has been one busy month!

Between my two large projects, I’ve been working like crazy, but in the best way.

Recording for Battle Cry has been amazing. Even though I’ve done an audio drama before, there’s something different about this one. Maybe it’s because there will be multiple seasons or these characters will be with me for a long time. The various storylines are a lot to juggle, but my cast has been absolutely phenomenal. It’s one thing to hear the characters in your head versus watching them come to life. The performances keep showing me the characters in a way I wasn’t anticipating. The actors are killing it and I already know editing is going to be a blast.

As for Phoenix’s Call, I was able to outline and organize the rest of the novel. Right now, we’re sitting at just over 85k words and 200 pages! This book is shaping up to be my longest yet. I can finally see where it’s going to go, which makes the words practically fall out of me.

January has been incredibly productive and I only hope that continues through to February!
